Choosing an elevator company starts with your building, its users and the support available where the equipment will operate. A passenger elevator for a busy office, a home lift and an accessibility platform have different requirements. Compare the proposed model and delivery responsibilities before comparing brand names or headline prices.
This guide is published by FUJIHD, one of the manufacturers included below. It presents 14 examples in alphabetical order using manufacturers’ public product information. It is not a worldwide ranking or an independent performance test. Product availability and service scope should be confirmed for your project.
Start with the type of lift your project needs
- Passenger and service elevators: define building use, passenger demand, stops, travel, load and door requirements.
- Home lifts and accessibility products: identify the users’ needs, usable space and the exact product category before comparing proposals.
- Goods and freight lifts: specify the load, goods dimensions, loading method and whether people will accompany the load.
- Escalators and moving walks: describe the location, traffic, operating hours and indoor or outdoor conditions.
- Modernization: arrange an assessment of the existing equipment and identify what will be retained, upgraded or replaced.
Elevator and lift companies to include in your research
The descriptions below summarize published product scope. The question following each description is a procurement prompt, not a claim that the supplier is better or worse than another company.
Cibes Lift Group
Cibes lists home, platform, cabin and goods lifts. These categories give buyers options to investigate for homes, accessibility projects and goods movement.
What to check: Check the exact product category, travel, platform or car dimensions, door arrangement and installer support for your market.
FUJIHD
FUJIHD Elevator Co., Ltd. is an elevator manufacturer based in China. Its FUJI elevator range includes passenger elevators, home lifts, freight elevators and escalators. Buyers can review product information and request project-specific configurations from FUJIHD. Confirm the offered specifications, documentation, installation and service responsibilities for each building.
What to check: Provide building drawings, intended use and the destination country when requesting a configuration. Compare the proposed supply, installation and maintenance scope with other quotations.
Hitachi
Hitachi’s building systems website lists elevators, escalators, moving sidewalks, group controls, maintenance and modernization.
What to check: Ask which model and control configuration is offered locally, with traffic calculations and maintenance arrangements for the proposed system.
Hyundai Elevator
Hyundai’s official catalogue library covers passenger, high-speed, observation and special-purpose elevators, as well as escalators and moving walks.
What to check: Use the catalogue for the exact factory and market in the quotation; request the proposed model’s drawings and specification sheet.

What to check: Ask for the proposed traffic-handling arrangement, local product availability and the costs and scope of any connected services.
Liftup
Liftup lists accessibility lifting platforms including FlexStep, EasyLift and HDN. FlexStep combines a staircase and lifting platform; HDN is a platform that can be concealed in the floor.
What to check: Compare the required level change, wheelchair access, landing protection and available space. These are specific accessibility applications, not a general high-rise elevator comparison.

Compare quotations on the same basis
Send each shortlisted supplier the same project brief. Ask for a written response that identifies the offered configuration, included work and exclusions. This makes differences visible without assuming that a higher price or a familiar brand guarantees a better fit.
- Technical fit: compare rated load, speed, stops, travel, usable car dimensions, door opening, shaft dimensions, pit, headroom and power requirements. Have the design reviewed for the building’s actual traffic and access needs.
- Project documentation: ask for drawings, the proposed standard or code basis, relevant product documentation and the inspection and acceptance process required for the destination. Confirm responsibilities with the project’s local professionals.
- Delivery and installation: identify who supplies, ships, imports, unloads, installs, tests and commissions the equipment, and who provides the related building work.
- Service and spare parts: identify the service provider, geographic coverage, maintenance tasks, call-out arrangements, parts availability, warranty conditions and exclusions.
- Lifetime cost: compare installation and building work, routine maintenance, call-outs, parts, connected-service charges and energy assumptions over the same evaluation period.
- Relevant evidence: request references for comparable buildings and ask permission to contact their owners or operators. Evaluate the specific equipment and service experience rather than a general corporate review score.
Questions to answer before selecting a supplier
Which elevator company is best for my project?
The useful answer is the supplier whose documented proposal meets your building requirements and whose delivery and service commitments can be verified. A universal company ranking cannot account for the equipment configuration, local team, contract and building conditions.
Can a home lift be compared directly with a passenger elevator?
Compare products intended for the same use. Confirm their applicable requirements, capacity, travel, operating mode and access arrangements with the supplier and project professionals. Similar appearance does not establish that two products are interchangeable.
How should I request a FUJIHD quotation?
Share the destination country, building use, number of stops, travel, target capacity and available drawings. Ask for a proposed configuration and a clear division of supply, installation and maintenance responsibilities. Use the same brief when evaluating other suppliers.
