FUJI Elevator Project Planning: A Buyer’s Checklist

A useful elevator quotation starts with a clear project brief. For buyers considering FUJIHD equipment, the following checklist helps organise the information needed to discuss product suitability, building interfaces and the proposed delivery scope.

1. Describe the building and its users

State the country, city, building use and whether the project is a new build or a renovation. Include the number of lifts, served floors, travel height and expected occupancy. Explain whether the equipment will mainly carry passengers, goods or patients, as the required cabin and entrance arrangements can differ.

2. Share drawings before comparing configurations

Provide floor plans and sections showing the available shaft, pit, overhead clearance and landing entrances. Identify any limits on structural work or equipment access. Ask the supplier and the responsible project team to confirm the proposed dimensions together; a brochure illustration is not a project-specific installation drawing.

3. Put technical requirements on one schedule

Compare rated load, speed, stops, clear door opening, cabin dimensions, power supply and control options on the same basis. Separate essential requirements from optional finishes and features. Have the project’s qualified advisers establish applicable accessibility, inspection and approval requirements.

4. Confirm who is responsible for delivery and service

The manufacturer, seller, importer, installer and maintenance provider may be different organisations. Request a written scope identifying equipment supply, freight, installation, commissioning, documentation, spare parts and maintenance. Check exclusions and ask for relevant project references, including the supplier’s actual role.
