Discuss rated load, speed, stops, controls, cabin finishes and door arrangements with the supplier. Ask which features are standard, optional or unavailable for the proposed model. If comparing energy estimates, use the same traffic assumptions, operating hours and equipment configuration.
Plan support throughout operation
Before ordering, identify the local installation and maintenance arrangements and ask how spare parts and technical documentation will be provided. Confirm the agreed service area, scope and exclusions in writing. The project team should verify the applicable requirements and the suitability of the proposed equipment for the building.
