Elevator: controlled door operation
A permanent-magnet door motor and electronic speed control coordinate the opening and closing cycle. The operating curve can be set for the door arrangement and load, helping the doors start and stop smoothly. Door dwell settings also need to reflect the time passengers require to enter and leave the car.
Escalator: automatic chain lubrication
Automatic lubrication delivers lubricant to designated chain points at controlled intervals. Consistent lubrication helps manage friction and wear in the transmission system during repeated operation. Routine checks of lubricant level, delivery points and chain condition remain part of the maintenance programme.
