About the building

Central Market is a retail development on Alash Highway in Astana, Kazakhstan. Its market format brings shops and food outlets together in a shared commercial setting. A broad, glazed entrance provides a clear point of arrival, while the multi-level layout makes circulation between shopping areas a central part of the visitor experience.

FUJIHD Elevator and Escalator Features

Retail circulation serves shoppers travelling between entrances, trading floors and other shared facilities. The following FUJIHD product features address these operating needs; availability depends on the selected model and equipment specification.

Elevator: controlled door operation

A permanent-magnet door motor and electronic speed control coordinate the opening and closing cycle. The operating curve can be set for the door arrangement and load, helping the doors start and stop smoothly. Door dwell settings also need to reflect the time passengers require to enter and leave the car.

Escalator: drive-chain and step-chain protection

Drive-chain monitoring responds to abnormal elongation or a break in the drive connection. Separate step-chain protection monitors the mechanism carrying the steps. A detected fault initiates the protective stopping sequence, allowing the cause to be inspected before the escalator is returned to service.
