FUJIHD Elevator and Escalator Features
Airport circulation serves travellers with luggage as they move between terminal levels. The following FUJIHD product features address these operating needs; availability depends on the selected model and equipment specification.
Elevator: infrared light-curtain protection
An infrared light curtain monitors the doorway for an obstruction during closing. When its detection field is interrupted, it signals the door controller to reopen or interrupt closing. This assists passengers entering with luggage, pushchairs or trolleys and complements the door locks and other protective devices.
Escalator: comb-plate and handrail-inlet protection
Comb-plate safety switches respond to abnormal movement caused by an obstruction where the steps meet the landing. Handrail-inlet guards monitor the point where the moving handrail enters its housing. Each device addresses a different trapping location and can initiate a protective stop when activated.
