The retrofit brings a new vertical element into the established building, linking the lift installation with the property's existing architecture and guest-access arrangement.

A permanent-magnet synchronous gearless traction machine drives the car without a reduction gearbox. Encoder feedback helps the controller regulate travel speed and the approach to each landing. Elevator: infrared light-curtain protection
An infrared light curtain monitors the doorway for an obstruction during closing. When its detection field is interrupted, it signals the door controller to reopen or interrupt closing. This assists passengers entering with luggage, pushchairs or trolleys and complements the door locks and other protective devices.
