About the building
Nikolsky is a shopping and entertainment centre in central Kharkiv, Ukraine. Its official website describes a vertical mall combining shops, restaurants and leisure venues, with direct access from Maidan Konstytutsii metro station at the lower level. The connection between urban transport and retail floors gives the building a varied pattern of passenger movement.

FUJIHD Elevator and Escalator Features
Retail complexes combine lift access with continuous escalator movement between trading levels. The following FUJIHD product features address these operating needs; availability depends on the selected model and equipment specification.
Elevator: controlled door operation
A permanent-magnet door motor and electronic speed control coordinate the opening and closing cycle. The operating curve can be set for the door arrangement and load, helping the doors start and stop smoothly. Door dwell settings also need to reflect the time passengers require to enter and leave the car.
Escalator: comb-plate and handrail-inlet protection
Comb-plate safety switches respond to abnormal movement caused by an obstruction where the steps meet the landing. Handrail-inlet guards monitor the point where the moving handrail enters its housing. Each device addresses a different trapping location and can initiate a protective stop when activated.
