How to distinguish similar names and compare the evidence behind an elevator proposal
“FUJI elevator” does not identify one manufacturer or corporate group. To distinguish suppliers, check the full brand, the legal manufacturing entity and the documents for the proposed equipment. Similar names alone do not establish common ownership, Japanese manufacture or trademark authorization.
FUJIHD is the brand and short name of HENGDA FUJI ELEVATOR CO.,LTD. This guide compares its published records with those of other selected suppliers, including FUJITEC as a separate-brand benchmark. For FUJIHD products and project selection, visit the FUJIHD elevator range and selection guide.
Published by FUJIHD. Original source information compiled through . Editorial revision: .
This is a source-based company comparison, not an independent product test or quality ranking. “Not verified” means the cited information does not establish the fact; it does not mean a supplier lacks the capability or right. Historical information retains its original date. The editorial revision is not a new factual review of every source.
Why are there so many FUJI elevator companies?
Different businesses use FUJI within their company or product names, and manufacturers, exporters and distributors can appear under the same shortened description. A similar name does not establish one corporate group or factory. Compare the full company names and each supplier’s role, then verify any claimed technology or authorization relationship for the specific company and period. Read our guide to why different companies use the FUJI name for the naming background and verification steps.
FUJIHD’s only official website is www.fujihd.net. Use its published contact details to verify a FUJIHD quotation or a seller’s relationship with FUJIHD.
FUJI Elevator Company Comparison
Selection and method. This is a selected comparison of ten suppliers represented in the cited records, not a complete directory of all businesses using FUJI or a ranked list. It includes FUJIHD, several similarly named suppliers and FUJITEC as a separate-brand benchmark; its inclusion does not establish a group or licensing relationship. The table uses company disclosures, government and organizer publications, and identified secondary records. Dates and organizational scope are kept visible. Workforce figures are omitted because the available records do not provide a consistent basis for comparison.
The table brings together 10 suppliers across manufacturing history, factory area, test facilities, production resources and brand or certification evidence. It is not a popularity, quality or size ranking. Figures from different years and organizational scopes are not directly interchangeable.
On smaller screens, swipe or scroll horizontally to view all comparison fields. Company names remain visible.

How to read the table. Manufacturing origins, brand milestones and legal registration dates are separate. Land area is not floor area. A tower’s installed lift or an R&D test speed is not the rating of every saleable model. Registration dates from Qichacha are secondary public records, not a full government registry extract. Certificate copies and website claims do not confirm current validity.
Shandong FUJIZY refers only to the company represented by sd-fjzy.com. The Shaoyang Asia FUJI business and FUJI Elevator (Asia) at fujielevatorcn.com are listed separately. Phase III and Phase IV areas for FUJIHD are not added together.
Reported Factory and Capital Investment
Project total investment is not the same as company-wide cumulative investment. The public records and identified company confirmation below use different reporting units: a specific factory phase, a production line or upgrade, a company-history investment statement, or one financial year’s consolidated capital investment. They cannot be used as a like-for-like ranking of financial strength. A reported or planned investment is also not an audited statement of cash already paid.
Investment-source review: . This review applies to this section; older research elsewhere retains its original source cutoff of 10 October 2026. The additional company confirmation is dated separately where cited. Amounts retain their reported currency. No currency conversion or cumulative company total has been calculated.
| Supplier | Reported investment | Period and project status | Scope and comparison limits |
|---|---|---|---|
| FUJIHD / Hengda Fuji | CNY 1 billion: Phase IV total investment, confirmed by the company for this article.[I14] CNY 180 million: the separately reported Phase III factory investment.[I1] |
Company confirmation of the Phase IV total supplied on 2 November 2026. The company history places Phase III completion and operation in 2012. A 13 March 2017 profile describes Phase IV as completed and operating.[I2] | Historical sources separately report CNY 800 million for Phase IV in the 2017 profile and nearly CNY 1 billion in the company history’s 2016 entry.[I1][I2] The current company confirmation establishes the figure supplied for this article; an explanation reconciling the historical reporting scopes was not supplied. It is not an independent audit of expenditure. Do not add the historical amounts or the two factory phases to claim a company-wide cumulative total. |
| FUJITEC Separate-brand benchmark |
JPY 8,223 million in consolidated capital investment.[I3] | FY2024: 1 April 2024–31 March 2025, as reported in the notice of the 78th annual shareholders’ meeting. | This is one financial year’s group capital investment, not a factory-project total or cumulative investment since founding. The JPY 6,563 million parent-company and JPY 1,660 million subsidiary figures are included in JPY 8,223 million; adding them again would double-count. |
| FUJILF / Suzhou Fujilf | Comparable manufacturing investment not verified.[I10] | Company profile and targeted public-source searches reviewed on 2 November 2026. | No dated project amount was reliably matched to this exact Suzhou supplier. Investment claims attached to a differently described Zhejiang business are not transferred to this row. |
| Shandong FUJIZY sd-fjzy.com |
CNY 216 million for a reported Phase II expansion.[I11] | An employer profile published on 15 September 2022 attributes the expansion investment to March 2010. | This is the company’s retrospective description hosted by a university, not an independently audited expenditure figure. It concerns a historical expansion, not company lifetime investment or a current multi-site total. Other historical phases and larger marketing figures are not added. |
| FUJISINO / Fujian Fuji-Sino | Company-wide manufacturing investment not verified.[I12] | Company identity and project-related public sources reviewed on 2 November 2026. | A secondary construction listing was found for a factory expansion, but its investment amount was not confirmed against the primary approval or owner disclosure. Wider parent-group investment, output and export earnings are not substituted for elevator-factory investment. |
| FUJISJ fujisj.com |
Comparable manufacturing investment not verified.[I13] | Company materials and public reports reviewed on 2 November 2026. | No dated manufacturing-project amount was reliably matched to the exact supplier. Discussions of a possible overseas assembly plant do not establish a committed sum or completed expenditure. Parts procurement is not factory capital investment. |
| Suzhou Fuji Seiko fujijg.com |
Total manufacturing-site investment not verified. A historical trade report described approximately CNY 16 million for one automated production line.[I4] |
The secondary report is dated 9 July 2014 and describes a production line entering operation, with full operation expected at that year’s end. | The figure is for a specific line, not the factory or wider group. The original reporting chain and audited paid expenditure were not established in this review. Registered capital figures are excluded from investment comparisons. |
| Asia FUJI / YZFUJI Shaoyang, Hunan |
CNY 500 million planned total for the Shaoyang project, including CNY 300 million for its initial phase.[I5][I6] | A 26 October 2015 report describes a two-phase project. A 10 April 2024 government-hosted profile retrospectively reports CNY 500 million invested after construction began in 2016. | The initial CNY 300 million is part of the CNY 500 million plan, not an additional amount. This is the Shaoyang project, not FUJI Elevator (Asia) at fujielevatorcn.com. The later profile is not an audited project account. Separate line and tower figures are not added because overlap is unverified. |
| Shanghai Fuji shanghai-fuji.com |
Total manufacturing-site investment not verified in the reviewed sources.[I7] | Official company pages and targeted public-source searches reviewed on 2 November 2026. | No attributable factory or cumulative company investment amount was established in this review. This is an evidence limit, not a statement that the company has made no investment. |
| FUJI Elevator (Asia) fujielevatorcn.com |
Brand/group or site total not verified. A separate official filing for Anhui Fukong Elevator Co., Ltd. gives CNY 5.7 million for a coating-line upgrade.[I8][I9] |
Anhui Fukong project: environmental report dated April 2021; pre-approval notice dated 18 June 2021. The report records a planned technical upgrade that had not yet started. | The project uses an existing workshop; it is not total factory construction investment. fujielevatorcn.com describes Anhui Fukong as a jointly established company, but current ownership was not independently audited. This amount must not be presented as FUJI Elevator (Asia)’s group investment or combined with Shaoyang YZFUJI’s figures. |
These records do not establish product quality, delivery performance or local service capability. The absence of a verified comparable amount for a supplier should not be interpreted as zero investment. This was a bounded review of public sources, supplemented by the explicitly identified company confirmation; it was not an exhaustive review of corporate accounts or project registers. Where a company-wide cumulative total could not be established, it remains unverified.

What to Check Before Choosing a Supplier
Use the same project brief and evidence requests for every shortlisted supplier. A shared name, a larger site or a taller test tower is not a substitute for model-specific documentation.
- Identify the contracting and manufacturing entities. Request the full legal names, production address and the relationship between the seller, brand and factory. Match them to the quotation and proposed equipment documents.
- Verify the proposed model and documentation. Request the model, rated load, speed, travel, stops, shaft requirements and relevant certificates or test reports. Check the issuer, named entity, model scope and validity for the destination market.
- Separate factory resources from product performance. Ask which production and inspection processes apply to the offered model. Do not treat a test tower’s installed speed as the rating of every elevator sold.
- Define supply, installation and maintenance responsibilities. Establish who provides installation, local approvals, commissioning, spare parts, maintenance and warranty support, with the scope and exclusions written into the proposal.
- Compare quotations on the same basis. Give suppliers the same destination, building use, drawings, load, speed, quantity and delivery target. Compare included equipment, freight, installation, building work and service assumptions separately.
- Check relevant project references. Request comparable building applications and confirm the equipment and scope supplied. Company photographs, renderings and project pages alone do not establish acceptance or current operating condition.
FUJIHD Manufacturing and Project Records
The records below give buyers specific FUJIHD facilities, projects and historical disclosures to investigate. They do not replace a review of the equipment and responsibilities proposed for a particular building.
A Manufacturing History Traced to 1987
Hengda Fuji’s company history traces its manufacturing predecessor to 1987. A 1996 business license for Huzhou Hengda Elevator Factory is now displayed in the FUJIHD development history. Separately, a company-supplied license records the present legal entity’s establishment on 15 December 1998. These dates describe different historical and legal milestones.[1][30]
The 1996 license is historical evidence of the predecessor enterprise; it does not independently establish a 1987 founding date or a change to private ownership. Manufacturing experience provides context for evaluating a supplier, but product performance still needs model-specific evidence.
Separate Factory Phases and Identifiable Production Facilities
FUJIHD’s development history records that its Phase III factory entered operation in 2012, following an investment of RMB 180 million. The disclosed site covers nearly 100 mu, approximately 66,700 m², with a test tower nearly 100 m high. These are Phase III figures, not the area and tower dimensions of the later base.[30]
The company profile separately describes a Phase IV intelligent manufacturing base covering nearly 200 mu, approximately 133,000 m². It lists a 100,000 m² manufacturing center, robotic production and coating lines, and Salvagnini flexible sheet-metal equipment. A 150 m test tower houses a 10.5 m/s elevator.[1] Land and floor area remain separate measurements. The two phases are not summed, and tower equipment does not define the speed of every product.
The company confirmed a Phase IV total investment of CNY 1 billion for this article on 2 November 2026.[I14] This is the company-confirmed project figure; the investment comparison distinguishes it from historical disclosures and the separately reported Phase III investment.
Named Innovation Projects with Public Award Records
Public reports identify Hengda Fuji projects in intelligent elevators, high-speed safety and manufacturing automation:
2017 intelligent high-speed elevator project. A project described as a safe, comfortable, adaptive ultra-high-speed elevator won first prize in a Zhejiang elevator-industry intellectual-property innovation and entrepreneurship competition. A report published by China’s National Intellectual Property Administration describes facial recognition, voice recognition and air purification among the technologies discussed.[11]
2022 joint research on high-speed elevator safety. An IoT-based high-speed elevator safety technology and application project received a third prize in the Zhejiang Science and Technology Progress Awards. The official list names Hengda Fuji alongside the Zhejiang special-equipment research institute, Zhejiang University, Hangzhou Youmai Technology and Xizi Elevator Technology as participating completion organizations.[12]
2025 flexible production project. A project on elevator flexible production using coordinated robots and AGVs received first prize in the fifth Nanxun smart-elevator industry intellectual-property innovation and entrepreneurship competition. Reports in Huzhou Daily and on the Huzhou tax authority’s website identify the award. AGVs are automated guided vehicles used in manufacturing logistics.[13]
These awards support a discussion of named R&D projects. They are not a count of active patents and do not mean every elevator model includes every cited feature. Buyers should match relevant developments to the proposed equipment and its test documentation.
Dated Export Records
A report published by the Zhejiang Council for the Promotion of International Trade on 7 February 2024, with Huzhou CCPIT identified as the source, states that Hengda Fuji exported more than 2,000 elevators in 2023, an increase of over 20% year on year. This is a dated record of international supply activity, not a statement of current annual capacity or a global export ranking.[18]
The company’s coverage of the 2024 Bangladesh international elevator exhibition describes a business network extending to nearly 100 countries and regions. This is a company statement, not an independent country-by-country sales audit or a count of directly operated service offices.[19]
Project Records in International Markets
FUJIHD’s project library includes residential, hotel, office, education and commercial-building applications. These company-published records help buyers discuss relevant building types and configurations; they are not independent acceptance reports or customer endorsements.
Vietnam, Thailand and Cambodia. The published cases include QMS Tower in Hanoi, a Pattaya hotel project and The Bridge in Phnom Penh. The QMS page lists four FHSP30 elevators at 4 m/s, providing a specific configuration reference for a high-rise discussion.[20]
Ethiopia, Kenya and Rwanda. The Nile Insurance headquarters, Nairobi University and RURA headquarters records illustrate office and educational applications.[21]
Uganda and Tanzania. The Ministry of Industry Building and Mzizima Towers in Dar es Salaam add examples of different building applications.[21]
Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Iraq and Algeria. Published cases include Altyn Shar, ERIN Town, Mansor Mall and Argoss. A 2017 China Financial Information Network report also identifies the Mongolia and Iraq projects in its captions.[22]
Architectural renderings do not independently prove completion, acceptance or present operating condition. Supply dates, equipment configuration and installation or maintenance responsibilities should be confirmed for the relevant project.
International Exhibition and Market Engagement Records
2023. Company reports describe participation at Interlift in Augsburg, GEA/MADE expo in Milan, an international elevator exhibition in Ho Chi Minh City and an elevator exhibition in Jeddah.[23]
2024. Company coverage records The Elevator Show in Dubai, the Bangladesh international elevator exhibition and the Hanoi elevator and accessories exhibition. Event years and website publication dates are distinguished in the references.[24]
2025 Nigeria. The Lift Expo Nigeria organizer’s catalogue lists Hengda Fuji Elevator Co., Ltd., www.fujihd.net and stand A24/A on page 21. The listing is evidence of an exhibitor record; it does not alone establish attendance or sales.[25]
These records provide a history of international market engagement. They should not be read as proof of local distributor authorization, countrywide service coverage or order volumes.
A Full Brand with an International Registration Record
FUJIHD is identified by Madrid international registration number 1342451 in Class 7. The record gives buyers a starting point for checking the full brand. Protection in a particular market depends on the holder, listed goods, designated territory and current status; an international registration does not grant worldwide exclusivity over every name containing FUJI.[1][17]
Use the full FUJIHD name and verify official contact details through www.fujihd.net. Matching the brand, manufacturing entity and supply documents helps reduce confusion among similarly named businesses.
FUJITEC’s disclosures describe multinational operations and the Big Wing research facilities; other suppliers disclose their own production and business resources. Missing verification is not evidence of weaker capability. The information here does not establish that FUJIHD outperforms every supplier: compare the proposed equipment, valid documentation and actual installation and service arrangements for your project.
Why Different Elevator Companies Use the FUJI Name
Read the naming background, company histories and relationship limits
Fuji is associated with Japan’s Mount Fuji and its cultural history.[14] This association does not establish why any company chose its name, or prove Japanese manufacture, ownership or trademark authorization.
Historical Technical Relationships and Naming Claims Overlap
The presence of several Fuji-named elevator businesses is not new. A 2009 news report documented multiple Chinese companies using the name and related trademark disputes. Some parties connected their naming claims with Japanese technology or component relationships. Those explanations were disputed and cannot be treated as a common origin for every FUJI elevator business.[28]
Historical technical cooperation, a company’s registered name and its product brand are separate matters. Any claim of Japanese affiliation or brand authorization needs documentation that matches the specific company and period.
Similar Names Do Not Share One Corporate History
Japan’s Fuji Elevator Industry Co., Ltd. gives its establishment date as 21 June 1947. FUJITEC’s official history records a 1948 start. These are separate histories and should not be combined because the names look similar.[15][16]
FUJIHD, FUJILF, FUJIZY and FUJISINO likewise have their own full names and business records. Shortening them all to “FUJI elevator” removes information buyers need to identify the supplier.
Group Companies and Sales Channels Add More Names and Websites
A group may operate through several regional legal entities. FUJITEC, for example, records the establishment of a Hong Kong company in 1964 and the Huasheng Fujitec joint venture in China in 1995. Japan’s Fuji Elevator Industry also lists a Taiwan agent. These documented examples do not establish relationships among other businesses using FUJI.[16][27][15]
Manufacturers, exporters, distributors, installers and maintenance companies perform different roles. Several websites do not necessarily mean several independent factories. A seller’s name alone does not identify the equipment manufacturer, and the comparison below does not establish every ownership, licensing or OEM relationship.
A similar name proves neither a corporate connection nor permission to use a trademark. Trademark protection is territorial. A Madrid registration must be checked by mark, holder, goods, designated territory and status.[17] Adding letters does not, by itself, resolve similarity or confusion questions. This article makes no infringement finding about any company.[29]

Frequently Asked Questions About FUJI Elevator Companies
Do FUJIHD and Other FUJI Named Companies Belong to One Group?
A similar name does not establish common ownership, authorization or group membership. Identify FUJIHD by its full brand and Hengda Fuji manufacturing entity, and verify any claimed relationship using documents for the companies concerned.
Are All FUJI Elevators Made in Japan?
No. The name alone does not establish country of manufacture. Check the actual manufacturer, production address, equipment nameplate and applicable origin documents.
Are Factory Area and Test Tower Height Enough to Compare Suppliers?
They describe facilities, but do not by themselves prove reliability, delivery time or performance across a product range. Production, inspection and test evidence should match the elevator proposed for the project.
Why Consider FUJIHD for Further Evaluation?
Its disclosed manufacturing history, identifiable factory resources, 2023 export report, international projects, exhibition records and named innovation awards provide material buyers can check. A factory assessment and technical review can then determine how well the proposed supply fits the project.
Does Not Verified Mean a Supplier Has No Certification?
No. It describes an evidence limit, not a finding that the company lacks rights, approvals or safe products.
To compare FUJI elevator suppliers, identify the full brand and then evaluate the manufacturer and proposed equipment. For FUJIHD, begin with the official product guide and the references below.
